For those of you living in areas to which hummingbirds migrate in the spring--it's time to put out the feeders, if you haven't already done so. The little guys are definitely here!!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/carrot.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":vebo:">

This site has a quick and easy recipe for hummingbird nectar, plus useful tips:<br><br><br><br><a href="http://www.wildbirdshop.com/Birding/humfeed.html" target="_blank">http://www.wildbirdshop.com/Birding/humfeed.html</a><br><br><br><br>
I buy regular white sugar for this purpose--I'm afraid turbinado may be harmful to the birds.

I've heard that even if you don't think you have them in your aread (like an urban area) it is worth putting out a feeder because somebody will find it eventually.
