my mom thinks i'm anerexic because i became vegetarian! i tried to talk to her about it, but she doesn't believe me and won't listen. i swear that i am not! and it really makes me sad, because me and mom used to be really close, and now she simply doesn't trust me at all, and treats me more like a patient than a daughter. and i know i'm not, we went to a doctor, who said i wasn't, so wut should i do?<br><br><br><br><br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/help.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":help:"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/bigcry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/bigcry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/bigcry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/bigcry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/bigcry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="">

find a doctor (either a dietician or nutritional therpist). go there, and go with your mom (in your session). have a discussion together.<br><br>
trust me - they would spot it right away if you did. and since you don't, they'll be able to help explain it to mom.

the Op said she already went to a doctor.<br><br><br><br><br><br>
Have you been to a nutritionalist, that can help you and your mom understand about being veg and how to stay healthy? Have you explained your reasons of being veg to your mom? Explained to her what you eat, and how you can get all your nutritents? Maybe you should plug your food into <a href="http://www.fitday.com" target="_blank">www.fitday.com</a> and show your mom how you can get enough calories and everything just as if you eat meat!

Just what I was thinking! And you might want to say in a friendly way that she can do the same with the meals she serves the family. That way if you are wrong and her food is healthier, it's right there in black and white.
