Wasn't sure where to put this...

Anyone take probiotics? If so, what made you decide to take them?

Any comments appreciated...

i take a live culture acidophilus because i have a gut related disease. now, i would probably have taken it anyway. yogurt is good. i can't eat yogurt (none have safe ingredients, and i miss it so ) but it's definitely the least you should do.

I take a probiotic supplement everyday (mainly acidophilus and bifidus), because I need it. I have sensitive bowels, and stress tend to aggravate them, and I've found that my supplements help a great deal. I don't like having to take them everyday, I'm not comfortable being dependent on anything, but they do help a lot.

I'm sorry  D-mannose is a pretty good supplement that helps to keep these away.

I take probiotics because I have read so many great things about the benefits of them, supposedly they help you absorb more vitamins and nutrients and keep illness at bay, I've even heard they can give you a glowing complexion, so far so good. An added bonus is they help give you a nice bm, I know TMI!!!!!
