Yes, I know I may be a dork, but you have to admit this sounds delicious.<br><br>
The tea biscuits are vegan and the butter replacement is no problem, but what would you recommend as a substitute for the egg in this recipe?<br><br><a href="http://www.oprah.com/food/Chocolate-Biscuit-Cake-Recipe" target="_blank">http://www.oprah.com/food/Chocolate-Biscuit-Cake-Recipe</a><br><br><br>
Oops.. just in case you're wondering, Price William is better known as PRINCE William. Maybe a nice mod will come along and correct my awesome spelling.

I use Egg Replacer or ground flax with soy milk for most chocolaty cakes.

Oops! Try ground flax! I just read it, instead of just glancing at it...if it's not to be baked at all, use the ground flax instead!<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/grin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":D">

Make sure you post the cake in the food porn thread afterwards <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/grin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":D">

I think I would be tempted to use silken tofu, for a custardy chilled "cake."<br><br>
What an odd cake! Who eats raw eggs these days? Hopefully they were pasteurized eggs!

Hahaha awesome. I had this for dessert on easter weekend. My brother and I call it Willy Cake. Anyway, it basically tasted like a bunch of hardened chocolate on top of roasted nuts. I'm willing to bet that an egg isn't even needed, but I'm not a baker so I might be wrong.

Hmmmm.... You know, I didn't think about this being a no bake recipe. I'm tempted to leave out the egg sub and see what happens.<br><br>
Phoenix, if it turns out well, I'll definitely take a pic!<br><br><br>
