There's a dried product that you can buy in bulk that looks kinda like eye boogers but gives chili or pasta sauce a ground beef consistency if you add it after soaking.<br><br><br><br>
Anyone know what it is?

But actually I can see your point. The stuff that's pale yellowish, and not colored a dark "beef" brown...eww, yeah...that's pretty descriptive.<br><br><br><br>
All the places around here only sell the dark brown variety though. It doesn't look nearly so... 'booger-ish'

I've never seen dark brown TVP.
