So every few months my work has a potluck. This month it is a potato bar (one person brings potatoes, another brings cheese, another brings onions, etc). I purposely picked Chili to bring, because it is typically meat filled. I'm hoping to blow them away with an animal free recipe. I'm pretty excited. I think I know what recipe I'll use, but what is your favorite vegan chili recipe? I've decided I'm not going to use soy crumbles (when I make this recipe I typically do use soy crumbles). I'm really excited!

I use the wendy's copycat recipe online, easily veganized with ground seitan or tvp. Omnis love it and can't believe it doesn't have meat in it. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">

I don't use any faux meats in my veggie chili. I use red beans and white beans, green peppers, carrots, onions, garlic, and Frank's hot sauce for extra zip. My omni family loves my veggie chili.

Ooh that sounds fun. Especially with hot sauce, reminds me of curry.

Sweet potatoes are my favorite in chili. I also don't use soy crumbles. Just beans and lots of veggies (onions, peppers, corn, broccoli, zucchini) along with the sweet potatoes.
