I take a small handful of unpopped kernels, throw it in a paper bag, and pop it in the microwave for 3 minutes. It probably makes about 3 cups popped? Hard to say.

Really? In the Microwave just like that? Do you have to put in any oil or anything? That's great! I always use a pot, and it's a pain! Loud, and smelly, and the popcorn is heavy... not nice & fluffy. mmm.....popcorn...

yeah, i just barely add enough to cover the bottom of the bag. just corn, no oil or anything else. but i only pop for a minute and a half, or i'll be smelling burned popcorn for days.

It's that easy! I'm sure it would be tastier with Earth Balance or olive oil, but I like it plain like that. Much healthier =)

Try sprinkling a little cinnamon over it, too!

AH! I tried it just now, with only about 10 kernels (for experimentation purposes only) - and it worked! I burned them a bit, but it worked! That is GREAT. I LOVE popcorn, but air poppers never work well, and the pot uses too much oil, and makes the kernels heavy and chewy. Thanks so much!

My air popper comes with a measuring cup, about 1/4 of a cup. I barely fill it halfway and it makes A LOT. I eat about a 1 cup, or 1 1/2 cup, and anything leftover usually gets eaten by someone else.
