I read the ingredients of God knows how many microwave popcorn brands and this was the only one that seemed vegan. However, some of them had what seemed to be vegan ingredients, and then had the words "contains milk ingredients" at the bottom. So I figured I should make sure b4 I started stuffing my face. I would be really happy to have my fatty snack back- but only if it's vegan. So anyone knows if this brand is really vegan?

What ingredients seem suspect to you? I figure the best thing to do is check them against a list of non-vegan ingredients, which you can find on any number of websites.

I prefer my own popcorn, popped in a saucepan... it always comes out tasty and I know what's in it! ^_^

You can also throw popcorn kernals in a brown paper bag and put it in the microwave! You can make your own microwave popcorn much cheaper than what is available in the store and you can do it it without any oil. Then you can decide how to season it.

That makes an amzing amount of sense. i could nevr really point out which ingredient wouldn't be vegan- they all were chemicals I guess making my own is a perfect idea. How long would I keep it in the microwave?

The name Pop Weasel doesn't sound appetizing anyway. It makes me think of stinky musk glands, not yummy popcorn.

But that's me

Making your own popcorn is fun. Of course making carmel corn with popcorn is even better

Whoa- how do you do that? I've given up on caramel corn and stuff like crunch and munch.

It really easy, Just make popcorn and add peanuts and some sea salt. Then make a sauce

combine Earth balance and sweetener in a saucepan with maybe a little water if needed. simmer until it forms a nice sauce. Then stir in a teaspoon of baking powder and pour the sauce all over the popcorn mixture. Bake for an hour in at 250 stiring the mixture a few times.
