I have a little foster kitty who has been in my house since she was born in April, the runt of the litter and had some complications from her surgery when she got fixed, but she is just the sweetest little thing.

Anyway since about May we have had 3 other kittens her age, one is long gone to a new home but the other two have been with her as kind of "littermates" right up until this weekend when both were adopted in the same day and went to thier new homes.

Poor little Rosemary is still running about the whole house yowling and crying at the top of her little siamese lungs. For the 3rd day.

I did not know she was so well bonded to those two but even her stand in mother "one of my adult female cats took over the role of her mom" has not been able to console her.

Poor kitten is an emotional wreak, she is supposed to be going to her new home sometime this week also but she will be all alone there as an only cat.

I'm worried about sending her now

Oh no, she is already adopted but the new owner is an elderly lady who is not currently in town.

I'm not Rosemary's owner technicly speaking her mother was a abandoned /abused cat who we took in to foster during the final weeks of her pregnancy.

So Rosemary was born here in my house and grew up with my pets and children and other fosters.

Just due to her small size and complications from surgery is the only reason she has stayed with us for so long, the poor baby though has bonded and I'm afraid it is going to be very tramatic for her to be moved.

She is still walking around the house crying for Apollo and Kalipso the two fosters that were adopted out Sat morning.

I certainly hope so, she is an older lady who does not work or have any kids or other pets and she wanted a companian animal, something to keep her company so I would think Rosemary would get spoilt rotten or at least that is my hope.

She is by far the neediest siamese mix I have ever seen and those guys can get pretty clingy.

We will see I guess when she gets back in town to take full custody of the kitty.

Rosemary really is a sweet pretty kitty, but she is so tiny most people would not look twice at her assumeing she has health issues but she does not.

Aww, that is so sad. Would feliway help?

My dog used to get really depressed and mope around for a few days whenever a foster dog got adopted, but I think he's gotten used to sudden disappearances now and they don't seem to affect him as much. It might be a different story when Skip goes though, since he's been around for almost two years... But dogs adjust to family chances a lot easier than people do, and I'm guessing cats probably do as well. I'm sure Rosemary will be fine, and am glad to hear that all of the kittens found homes.

Oh yeah I'm a huge fan of feliway I use the plug in's all over the house realldy does help to reduce stress normaly.

Her problem though is she is running from cat to cat and human to human head butting them, crying and more or less looking for emotional reassurance.

The adult cats in the house are becomming irritable with her though :/

I hope she takes well to her new family, we tried to rehome her once to the facility as an offical cat but she did not work out there.

Only lasted 2 days.
