i ride english ( i live in england) but i sometimes ride spanish, i have 2 ponies, called chocolate and bramble, i keep them at my freinds' yard.

neat what breed are they? pictures?<br><br>
btw i just say ponies to be a schmooze i'm generally referring to horses. or any equine for that matter.<br><br>
we have been looking to move to england for a long time. is it expensive to board horses there? i doubt we could afford to buy a house with any land for horses.<br><br>
does anyone ride western there? i primarly ride english but i do show western pleasure and i would would miss it...sorry for all the questions, just really curious.

my ponies were rescued from a dog meat factory, so i dont know what breed they are, but they are probably mountain and moorland or somthing like that. they are kept at my freinds place, which is great, because i dont have to pay, but from what i know about boarding, it is pretty expensive, anything in england to do with land is pretty expensive. especially in the south east. not that many people ride western, but there are a few around, the nearest place to me is an hour away, which is'nt bad.<br><br><br><br>

I ride just about every day when the weather permits it. I used to ride English and have taken dressage lessons for a portion of my life, but now I ride western. My sister and I show our horses (we have 3: a paint named Casey, an appaloosa named Outlaw, and my horse is a quarter horse named Hudson).<br><br><br><br>
I couldn't imagine living without horses!

yay! new pony! he's called polo and he's so sweet, like my other horses he's rescued, i saw an ad in the paper, asking for a home for a rescue pony. i asked my parents, and they were like - ok but we want no part in this, so i asked my freinds mom if she had a spare stable, and she was o.k with it, so it was all sorted out.<br><br>
wow. my family are layed back. i'm only 14.

yep! but there was insurance, getting him checked over by vet, ect, ect.but at that point my mom decided to chip in a bit and i had £600 in my bank anyway (i was saving for a better drum kit) in all about £250 (dont know what that is in $)

Late posting to this thread, just wanted to add my name to the 'list'. I ride and train a bit, used to show English, Saddleseat and Hunter over Fences, Western Pleasure and Reining.<br><br><br><br>
I recently sold my horses because the cost of their boarding, upkeep and care was unmanageable on my budget but someday I'll get a few more.<br><br><br><br>
The trainer I work with trains and shows Arabians and Saddlebreds.

I was never exposed to horses growing up....I did go riding for the very first time as an adult....I loved it...went one more time after that....kind of scary/lovin it at the same time, though.
