I live in St. Louis, Missouri and am a huge supporter of the Humane Society. They have this annual event called Bark in the Park to raise money for shelter animals. This year (I was appalled to find out) they are giving away a trip to SeaWorld for the top team who raises the most money.

How does this happen? Conflict of interest I guess since Anheuser-Busch operates out of St. Louis and owns SeaWorld. Anyway, please write the CEO of HSMO a polite letter stating that places like SeaWorld are inhumane and taking large exotic animals out of their habitat and exploiting them for humane entertainment is unnecessary and something that the HSMO should not condone. Just last week 25 of the 37 penguins at SeaWorld Orlando died.

Please, Please, Please help out. Here is the President's information:

Thanks you SO much for all your efforts!

It looks like it's the Humane Society of Missouri putting this on. I don't think they are affiliated with the HSUS.

Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. I guess this makes a big difference.

HSMO is NOT affiliated with the HSUS.

Here is the correct contact information:

Kathy Warnick

Humane Society of Missouri

1201 Macklind Avenue

St. Louis, MO

63110

314-647-8800

Please send them a letter to let them know they should revoke the prize and come up with something that does not exploit animals. They do so much for so many other animals (farm animals, canadian seals, anit-fur, etc.) that they can't possibly send someone to SeaWorld.

Thank you so much to anyone who sends a letter or makes a phone call.
