I've done some research and have found that the best plants for my Beardie are Hibiscus, Pothos, and Purslane. Being new to the plant world, does anybody have any tips on the care?

Being as this will be put in the beardies tank, the temperatures range from 70-100 degrees. There is also of course a UV light. How much watering is required? What is safe fertilizer to use? I've heard tea leaves from a used up tea bag are great..

Pothos are easy to grow. You might even ask some of your friends for cuttings rather than buy one. You can root them in water, or wet gravel, sand, vermiculite, etc. I don't know how UV light would affect them. They are supposed to like warmth, but they'll need light too.

I've never grown hibiscus, and the only purslane I know is a rather tasty edible weed. Sorry.
