Hello Everyone!

Ok so this is something I have been thinking about for sometime, Non of my Friends are veggie so I can't really talk to them about it.
But I was sat tonight and I thought "Hey I have a forum for gaming so maybe theres a forum for Veggies" and behold I found this fine forum!

I have been sort of 80/20 about becoming Veggie but I was talking to someone online about it and they showed me a video on PETA and that just threw me to 100%!

I'm a very dedicated person and once I set my mind to something I won't go back and I truly want this!.

Now I was told theres lots of alts for real meat for sale in super markets which is great! but I was wondering is it ok to still use dairy products such as Milk etc?
And can I still eat Fish?

I'm very new to this world but I can't wait to get into it and start enjoying a healthier and more animal friendly life!

Awesome! Milk yes, fish no. A fish is an animal, vegetarians don't eat animals.

Ok
What about other diary products?
Eggs? Cheese?
Fish I can deal without, I quite like the tuna in tins but worth giving up for this

I would be careful with what kind of cheeses you eat, some have rennet in them, which come from a calves stomach.
Heres a list of some vegetarian cheeses

Eggs are fine if you are vegetarian.
Also, in candies, watch out for things like gelatin or Carmine, they are more animal by-products .

I don't eat candy luckily.
I do like chewing gum though

A lot of chewing gum in the U.S. has glycerin, idk how it is in the U.K. but look out for any thing with 'glycer' in it's name.

Some of them in UK have a lil green V on them if they are veggi safe. I know Airwaves has

Yeah buy those. The V hasn;t made it to the U.S. yet so I have to scan all the ingredients.

Oh, also be careful what kind of yogurt you have, some of them have gelatin in them.

I love this response. A fish is an animal, vegetarians don't eat animals.
