My mother's cat gets spooked real easily, and recently he refused to come down stairs after being taken to the vet several times. She surfed the web and found this pheromone spray that smells like the facial scents cats use to mark things as "good". She sprayed that stuff around, and he came out and started acting a little normal. The spray is supposed to calm cats. I sprayed a little in my car and in my cat's cage bc she is going to the vet tomorrow. I forget the name of it, it is very expensive, but worth it if you have a nervous or easily freaked cat.

Anyone else heard of this?

Here it is. It says it also prevents spraying.
