okay, so if any of you are dedicated Womens Only Forumers.... you may have noticed i have posted a lot of bullitens about sex in here. all of a sudden. i hope its not annoying or anything? but my friend was having issues and i wanted to help and i also lost my virginity about a month ago. i love VB and even though i have never met any of you all, i really trust, value youre alls advice and opinions. so im really sorry if im being ridiculous. but ive just had alot of sex questions recently, but i am going to my doctor soon to get on some sort of BC and i know she will answer alot of questions... until then.. ONE MORE!

okay so everytime i have had sex i have used a condom and everything was fine (as far as i can tell) but i am super paranoid about getting pregnant so of course at the slightest stomach ache, im like ohmygoodness im pregnant! so then i was relieved because i got my period on tuesday night. but my pms symptoms were basically none. i had some skin issues (pimples), and thats about it. well and i had the usually stomach cramping. im not craving any food at all. i really havent eaten much. which started about a week ago, i just havent wanted to eat. so im on my period, but not eating ice cream 24/7 or anything. i just dont have much of an appetite. which is really weird for me. i usually eat like crazy on my period. i have also felt nauseous, just a little bitty bit. never actually throwing up. but when i do eat a regular size meal i feel a little nauseous, nothing serious at all. so im just wondering if this is normal... to get my period but have different pms symptoms that ive never had before. i know i have been really stressed out about school and then about ohmygoodness im totally pregnant!! so i may just be having weird symptoms because of stress. basically i want someone to tell me im not pregnant! i know usually if you get your period its a sign youre not, but then i just learned that you can get it and still be. i just want a little reassurance. thank you so much!

Take a pregnancy test. They are like $15 or less at your drugstore. Then you can feel better. Nothing we can tell you will be more accurate than that.

Get to your doctor and get on BC of some sort if you are going to be sexually active. Make sure you are also protecting yourself from STDs.

I'm with bstutzma. Take a test, and then you will know for sure! It's important to start using two methods of birth control, so make sure to talk to your doctor about that.

Until you are able to get a test, try to stop worrying and stressing yourself out.

ETA: Oh, and you're not being annoying by posting threads to ask questions. That's why the Women's Forum is here.

Also, if it's any consolation, a condom is 98% effective at prevented pregnancy if used PERFECTLY. That means it fits correctly, it doesn't break or slip off, it doesn't have any punctures, etc... (It's also assuming the condom wasn't defective.) Keep that in mind until you are able to find out for sure with a pregnancy test. If you used the condom correctly, and because you have your period right now, I'd guess that your chances of being pregnant are extremely slim.
