I have tried really hard to find a nice vegan perfume but can't seem to find any.
I need one that I can buy at a store (in Canada), not online. Pacifica looks nice but I don't know where it is sold besides online!
I usually love LUSH's scents, but their perfumes are horrible... They smell really earthy and natural when I like more floral and fruity scents.
Do you know any vegan perfumes? Please let me know! thanks

I really like Ecco Bella's scents - I have the Bourbon Vanilla and Ambrosia. The latter has a patchouli base, but it's not too strong or over powering at all, and it's also kind of floral on top. There are two others, but I haven't tried them.
My only nit-pick with them is they don't last long - I find I have to re-apply every few hours, or the scent fades.

I am really into colognes.... I thought animal testing was a thing of the past, until I started reading more recently though. How do they actually test their products? they spary it on and see if it causes a rash? It doesnt make any sense.

One my favorite brands is Bond No9 they make a perfume called Scent of Peace, its amazing stuff. Its pretty expensive stuff, considering its a niche brand. From what ive read Bond9 is vegan but I think you might need to email them. They sell it at Saks Fifth Ave. but I dont think they have one of those in CAN. so you if you want to smell it order ya a sample from a fragrance site. Again its one of my Favs... I went with a friend to a christmas party this past year and gave her a sample to wear for the night. Everyone kept stoping her telling her she smelled amazing. but for 170 dollars a bottle you ought to smell amazing.

As for buying in a store.... I wouldnt never suggest doing that!!! The mark up is from 30% to almost 100% on some fragrances I have seen.

I usually go into a store... Smell everything talk to the people like i am going to buy something. Then laugh and go buy it online.

check out some sites like....
http://www.beautyencounter.com/
www.Fragrancenet.com
Ive have had great experience with both and dont forget to google coupon codes before ordering and save some 10% to 15% more.

I have two I use right now: Urban Decay Revolver fragrance oil (my husband loves this) and LUSH Imogen Rose. I know you've said you don't like LUSH's perfumes, but have you actually tried spraying them on and giving them a chance to warm up? The first time I smelled Imogen Rose, it smelled like dirt to me, but when I spray it on and actually allow it to dry down, it transforms into a really lovely rosy powdery scent.

If Bond No. 9 is indeed vegan, that's awesome too as I have used and LOVED their perfumes in the past.

ETA: I believe many L'Occitane scents are also vegan. Based on research I have done previously, I think the only animal ingredients they use are bee ingredients, so you would just need to watch for those.

thanks. I suppose I should give Imogen rose a try. I just know when I smelled all the lush perfumes at least the top notes were not my thing . I'll try and see :)

I find it hard to get a good vegan perfume. L'occitane has been my favourite for the last few years. Even with them, I only like one of their fragrances - the rest of them are not really my style.

Bath and body works is vegan, there seem to be a lot of them popping up in Toronto/GTA their ingredients list glycerin but I looked into it and apparently its the plant kind. Also loblaws/real canadian superstores sell vegan products, in the middle where all the organic food is.
This is more for body spray though, not sure if you mean just perfume or any nice smelling spray.

I think the Pam Anderson ones are vegan (I'm remembering from a past thread). Eco Tools has I think two body sprays. If you're in Alberta or Ontario, Victoria's Secret might have some perfumes or sprays that are vegan. Plus, you can always make your own with some coconut or similar oil and essential oils.

And just to add, for cologne, I know there's Herban Cowboy, Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, Ted Baker, and Jack Black.

If anyone's curious, I confirmed that Bond No. 9 scents are vegan. Sweet! I love these perfumes, I used to have Bleecker Street years ago when I lived in that area. Next time I run out of perfume, I'll definitely pick up another.

Very cool... I am not totally into vegan products, but its nice to know If I am paying 150 to 190 dollars for a bottle of Cologne it will at least be Vegan. Fragrances are one of those items I don't understand why they all aren't vegan friendly.

Brooklyn is my favorite Cologne by them... Its unisex if that's matters. Something about it when I wear it... It just cheers me up.
I think Perfume wise the I still think the best I have smelled for myself is Scent of Peace, If you buy the Bleeker get yourself a sample of it

A lot of people seem to love Scent of Peace. There are a few different ones I want to try and that's one of them. I might get the bon bon box, if I get any money for my birthday in a couple weeks

The price of the Bon Bon box is just to high for me... Plus most of their products are geared towards women and not men from what I have heard and smelled. So usually when it comes to samples of Bond 9 I order from Beauty Encounter... They got 25 dollar free shipping going on now.

http://www.beautyencounter.com/search/bond-sampler

They are 5 bucks a sample compared to the 14 bucks a sample for the bon bon set....
Plus I can leave out the female fragrances... at least try, I got scent of peace thinking it was Unisex So thats how I got around to smelling it.

Right now they dont have Scent Of Peace sample in stock but Bond 9 is really really strict about their samples.... They came close to sueing a website awhile back for producing samples out of larger 3.3 bottles a couple years ago. So their samples I think have come to be hard to get. (which to me is stupid, considering how expensive they are... I am not buying a bottle unless I get to try it a couple times to make sure it fits me)

Another Cologne they make that I like is Wallstreet....

Hope I am not draging this on... I just like fragrances, wish I had the money to own more.

Ah ok. That makes complete sense that you would not be into the bon bon box if you're looking mainly at unisex/male fragrances I do think it would be fun to try a whole bunch of them at once, but I need to see if I come by any more cash in the near future. Their stuff is expensive, for sure. At their prices, I would definitely not buy a whole bottle without testing the scent first. I usually only own 1-2 full size perfumes at a time, but I love to mess around with samples.

I ordered them straight from the Ecco Bella website.
