Peanut Sauce for Salad

1039 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  inhalecalm
Lately I've been making a cold salad with noodles, sliced cabbage, and this peanut sauce:

5 Tbsp natural peanut butter, microwaved until easily stirrable
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 inch ginger, minced
3 Tbsp water
juice of a lime
2 tsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
2 Tbsp soy sauce

Slightly modified from a site called The Spruce Cooks.

Whisk ingredients together. Can use immediately, but I like to combine everything but the lime juice and let it hang out for an hour, then whisk in the lime. Makes enough to dress 4 cups of noodles and 4 cups of cabbage.

I'm going to try this tonight, thanks for sharing!
I'm so glad you decided to give it a try! Hope it turned out well.
I like this kind of recipe, nice and simple. Sounds tasty too. I will try and report back :)
I love peanut in it's any form. Well, thank you so much for your recipe. Can I avoid the garlic, I don't like garlic?
