Greetings to all, my name is Carlos and I just joined this site, because I want to find a way to stop eating meat slowly then surely while building around positive and not all the time negative people. Is there a list of which foods to go to and to stay from? Which foods are acidic and which are alkaline?

Peace,
Carlos

I know that it is written for ladies, but you may want to check out Kris Carr's new book "Crazy Sexy Diet". It focuses on alkaline, vegan foods.

Welcome to the forum, Carlos. I don't know much about which foods are acid, alkaline, but I'd like to recommend the book Becoming Vegan, by Vesanto Melina and Brenda Davis. They also have a book Becoming Vegetarian, but I think these books contain very similar information. My main focus is to make sure I get enough servings from all the food groups, including my omega-3s, B12, and vitamin D.
