First I want to start with some background. I went from 300 lbs to 175 lbs by cutting out
added sugar, white flour, transfats, most beef, pork...I eat a lot of whole grains, fruit, veggies...and I still eat meat but not as much and usually turkey, chicken and fish.

Once or twice per week, many time without even thinking about it..I find that I did not
eat any meat. I do eat a couple of eggs most morning, though.

How worried should I be about complete protiens in my diet and not having enough on
any given day? Would 2 eggs be enough? Should I concentrate more on having some meat
each and everyday?

Any advice would be appreciated.

STOP worrying. Grains contain protein. Beans (legumes contain protein. Then, there is the classic Soya, how much, and how many of these do you eat ? YOU do not need animal protein i.e. from milk eggs. DO carry on with the fish, thou. And you will get to where you want to be.

The rules of this site state that you must be a vegetarian or trying to become vegetarian to be a member. That means you do not eat any meat (fish is meat btw).

First, I picked up on, that Jay has done a fantastic job of turning his diet/lifestyle completely around, congratulations, may it continue. Jay may or may not want to be fully comitted to a vegan/vegetarian at this moment in time, BUT with gentle encouragment will test the water, and COMMIT when its the right time.

Thanx for the replies. That's what I get for not reading all the terms and conditions...like we ALL read the terms and conditions..LOL...I didn't realize I was breaking the rules. Hopefully I won't be kicked out yet...

I have thought about going completely vegetarian but it would have been for strictly health issues. Everything I have read leads me to believe cutting out red meat and high fat meats, like beef and pork, is best and leaving in turkey, chicken and fish is almost a non-issue. Calories for soy versions of meat products are roughly the same, if not a little higher, than chicken or turkey so again, from that stand point not much to gain.

Unless someone else has better information to provide. I am always open minded and would enjoy reading what a vegetarian might suggest.

Thanx again for those that responded. I am less worried on those days I don't eat any meat. Yesterday was just such a day.

I don't eat much soy at all. I know I don't need animal protien but from what I understand vegetarians need to carefully plan meals to get complete proteins. I am not sure if I want to add another layer like that to everything else I have been doing. its just easier to eat a little chicken and turkey most days. Eggs, too. I have also read many vegetarians consider eggs okay.
