Pfffft...like I need an excuse to eat pancakes! Lol

How did I miss this all these years? I didn't know the day before Ash Wednesday/Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday was also known as pancake day!

Hopefully gonna have some with my flatmates after tea.
Wish I was at home for it though....... can't remember being away for P Day, usually mum makes me them until I physically can't eat any more..... good memories...

I put a recipe on my blog that works perfectly for me. Flour and soymilk alone won't do it, you'll need a little something for binding - a touch of vegetable oil should do it.

I made some with just flour and soya milk...plus a little oil in the pan...attempt 4 was great...a bit doughy till that point. They were very tasty!

Whats your recipe AF??

just had a big pile with flatmates- awesome, and nice to be able to enjoy the same food as them (although if I was vegan I would have to have made separate egg free batter).
There is some left so I look forward to breakfast tomorrow!

My pancakes became more like scrambled eggs.

Well, just goes to show you that you need to follow a recipe.
