Hi. I tried this last week and it was simply incredible. And easy too.

Take a pan, add a little butter or extra virgin olive oil (just a little)

Cut a ripe banana in half inch sections so it looks like you are going to cook scallops. Place the bananas in the hot pan and cook them on one side for up to 5 minutes and then turn over and do the same until they are browned on both sides. Remove from heat and plate. They are excellent plain but feel free to add a few drops of rum or vanilla on top of them. This dessert was super simple but incredibly decadent tasting. It takes like it has a ton of calories but in the end you are simply eating one banana.

Oh, and one funny thing, if you brown them too much I found that they start to taste like marshmallows! A healthy way to get some sinfully rich and satisfying taste.

Glad I didn't eat my last banana earlier!

EDIT: I just tried it, pretty darn good! I put a very small amount of cinnamon on top of mine.
