I've been teetering on the idea of vegetarianism for a while now, which as a 30 year old Latino is a HUGE thing! Not knowing where to go, I turned to youtube for help and found freelee, a raw vegan. I looked into some of her published diets and they came as a huge shock to me! I copied part of those portions below and want to know if she's out of her mind, or if I'm just in for a huge shock when making this transition. Some of these meals had additional veggies/fruits to go with them, I just copied the parts that really stuck out to me. I feel like I'm going to have a diabetes in a few days with this diet!
Each line is a different meal, and not necessarily on the same day...
- 10kg of watermelon for breakfast (aka 22lbs!!!) I'm assuming that's minus the skin
- 2 liters of orange juice for breakfast
- 15-20 figs for lunch
- 6 mangoes for lunch
- 15-20 figs with 5 dates
- 1 "VERY" sweet pineapple with 6 or more dates and strawberries
If someone has a first 30 days raw vegan meal plan for a complete newbie, please feel free to post or PM me! I really need some initial guidance and feel like all I have are fruits, salads, and juices/smoothies.
