I work night shift at a hotel, and am finishing my next to last shift before I leave town. And the breakfast attendants have been bad about calling in, this morning included, and I've often been stuck having to cook meat and lay out dairy products, even though everyone at my job knows that I'm vegan. And we have to keep cookies baked and laid out for the guests, which are definitely not vegan.

Though this morning, as I haven't been trained on breakfast, I've laid out everything but the meat and eggs. Not like they can fire me for it, and maybe our guests will see how great a meat-free breakfast can be!

And I'm about to finish my degree, so my next job definitely won't even remotely deal with food of any kind! Getting ready to go in for my last shift ever tonight, then off to England!

No kids just yet.

And I'm very relieved, tonight there's already enough cookies baked and the hotel is empty enough to where I probably won't have to bake anymore. So no more dealing with food that I don't agree with just to keep a roof over my head!
