I was just thinking this morning about how much I love breakfast cereals- both hot and cold. Just for fun, what cereals do you eat?

I'm a fan of

-old fashioned oatmeal (not the instant junk thats loaded with sugar)

-country choice organic multi grain hot cereal (oats, barley, wheat, rye)

-oat bran hot cereal

-trader joe's high fiber o's

-kashi golean

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I also used to love Reese's Puffs and cookie crisps. Terrified of them now because the sugar and empty calories, lol.

I'm one of those weird people that hates cereal.

I guess I don't hate it, but I don't even remembere the last time I ate a "bowl of cereal". I ate it maybe twice as a kid. I think it's because I hated the obligatory milk that went along with it. I do love oatmeal, but I only started eating it recently.

Oatmeal is definitly my all time favorite thing for breakfast, the non-instant kind as well. The instant stuff is just too soft, I like it chewy

Kashi GoLean Crunch is amazing too, but the love of my life cereal has to be Peanut Butter Puffins. I used to love Reeses's Puffs too, but these have more than replaced them!

I was never a milk person either. By the time I was about 6 though, my mom realized that it was worth it to just buy me soymilk for my cereal instead of having my nanny make me a whole separate breakfast than my siblings (offering daily choices to 4 elementary age kids made to mornings too hectic and if everyone wanted a completely different breakfast, we'd never get to school on time
).

I was known to put chocolate soymilk on my reese's puffs from time to time as a child, lol.

I really like this organic raisin bran cereal my supermarket has started to carry... it's one of the few cereals that I'll actually eat as is. Any sorts of branflakes with milk and bananas on top are good, though, eheh. I dislike the really light puffed cereals and those sorts... bleh. Oatmeal is also great!

I practically live off cereal... I take disposable bowls of instant oatmeal for school lunches, I love wheaties, oatmeal squares cereal, wheat chex, organic frosted mini wheats, and puffins in particular.

I second beatricious on the strawberry Morning Crisp! Their maple pecan flavour is delicious as well.

My absolute favourite is anything by the Peace Cereal company.

They carry a million vegan flavours in a style that reminds me of my pre-vegan favourite, almond honey bunches of oats. Sadly I can't find that brand in town!

Yum...cereal!

I love Trader Joe's Mango Passion Granola, and all of the Golden Temple brand that they sell in bulk at Whole Foods (several have honey though). Kashi's Go Lean! Crunch was a favorite, but also has honey. They said ages ago that they were investigating other sweeteners, but the last time I looked, it was still there.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned Cheerios. Yum yum yum

I go through about two boxes of cereal a week. My favorite combo is Cinnamon Life Cereal, Fiber one and vanilla soymilk. I eat this for breakfast (and sometimes supper) every day. I also like oatmeal squares, cheerios (multi grain, honey nut and regular), the Kashi cereals.

Oh! I forgot about Cinnamon Life.

I think I'm going to go on an all-cereal diet.

Oh, I know that feeling. I had a phase this summer when all I wanted to eat was branflakes...

Weetabix, or Doves Farm Biobiz are good too, if you don't add too much liquid. The Doves Farm ones tend to be crunchier, and hold together better...

That, with sliced banana, is my normal breakfast. Best meal of the day - I wish the kitchen staff left the cereal out all the time...

I love cereal and prefer cold cereal with really cold rice dream to hot cereal. My favorites are:

Kashi Go Lean

Corn Chex

Rice Chex

Nature's Path Heritage Flakes

I occasionally like:

Grape Nuts

Wheat Chex

Honey Nut Chex

Barbara's Shredded Oats

I sometimes have a sweet cereal for dessert.
