This is the nutritional value of one medium ear:

Vitamin A 2 % Vitamin C 5 %

Calcium 0 % Iron 2 %

Vitamin D 0 % Vitamin E 0 %

Thiamin 5 % Riboflavin 2 %

Niacin 4 % Folate 6 %

Vitamin B-6 1 % Vitamin B-12 0 %

Phosphorus 5 % Magnesium 4 %

Corn is a HUGE carbohydrate source. It also makes you gassy.
But its so good. If youre cutting down on carbs, cut the corn, too.

Nutritional value? Not much. Psychological value? Tons. Picture it - a juicy, fresh ear of corn, roasted on the grill, spread with Earth Balance and a bit of salt...
