I need any ideas of what i can do for exercise as I can't find anything to do. I can't ride my bike because there is no where to ride it since on my road cars go 50-70 mph. There are no sidewalks or anywhere for me to walk because i live on a busy road. And my pool doesnt open until the summer. So if anyone has any ideas of what I can do that doesnt cost a lot of money( like joining some excersise program) please share!!!

The only thing I can suggest is that you get some free weights and resistance bands and use them in your bedroom. As far as cardio is concerned, you can buy all kinds of stupid tapes. They aren't the best, but its better than nothing. Isn't there a park somewhere around your house where you can go to run?!<br><br>

How about buying some aerobics tapes?<br><br><br><br>
Maybe you could buy some books on yoga and try that out.<br><br><br><br>
Theres always the usual pushup, situp, lunge, leg lift type of thing. Or you could always try to save up some money to buy a stationary bike or something of that nature.<br><br><br><br>

Hehe. Rainbowmoon. We replied at the same time and both came up with a park to go jogging in and tapes. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">

Thanks you guys for the ideas!! I have a park near me(not near enough to walk) but i just need to get rides there untill I get my own car maybe this summer. I guess when i get my car it will be better.

If you don't want to spend money buying exercise tapes, see if your local library has some to rent. They are probably really old (beware the early nineties look!) but that way you could try some and if you like it then buy it. I also really like the idea of dancing around you house.

If you have a mall nearby, you can use it for walking (instead of shopping). It's nice for when the weather outside is cold or rainy.

when i am watching tv and the other roomates are sleeping i spread the coffee tables and do pushups and crunchs. just use what you got. also i have been thinkin about putting my flour bag in a grocery bag and using them as dumb bells
