I know it sounds silly, but after only two weeks of being on a strict vegan diet, I am really tasting my food again. When I was eating far more protein via meat than I really needed cucumbers tastes like nothing really to me and the same with lettuce. Now I am able to taste the wonderfulness of the cucumber and have been popping them into my mouth like I used to pop chips.
Sorry if this is a silly post, but this board is really the only place I have to celebrate these kind of things.
