I just got a newsletter about a new veg*n friendly web site.

It's called "Humane Race" and it's brand new. I am the 3rd person to join the forum, lol. It is run by Christi, the owner of "A different daisy" (VeganGoods.com). The site is "meant to be a place where people can come to share, learn and take action towards making this beautiful planet a better place for animals and people."

An expert from the newsletter:

Quote:
This is the first newsletter for the Humane Race, website ran by the owner of A Different Daisy, covering news, information, articles, and resources relating to kinder alternatives and the movement toward a more humane existence. Please join the forums where you can share experiences, ask questions and correspond with like-minded people. My goal with this website and newsletter is to promote veganism and vegetarianism as well as cruelty-free alternatives, more natural living and overall kindness for people and animals. I will be sharing articles of interest, doing interviews with people who are living compassionately, offering recipes, showcasing products and posting news. I am looking for people who are interested in contributing in various ways. If you are interested, please contact me [email protected]
There is an interview on the site with Barry Lovelace (aka barrylove)!

The site is still new, but I think it will be interesting once people start to join.

http://www.differentdaisy.com/BetterWorld (forum page)

its quite good looking, but the contrast of the white in the color bars with beige white and yellow is marginally too brite, if whoever concerned doesn't mind me saying so....

Then the main question, is how many people will truly sign up and know about it and like it and go there regular? I hope it goes well anyway... I think I will join up but somewhat passively and non too involved, that different daisy chick probably is a good forum master along with others who may join a fan of her general impression and web expertise etc.
