New (to you) songs that you love

I don't know if anyone else is like me, but sometimes I hear a song and it absolutely bowls me over and sticks in my head for days. Sometimes a song takes a few listens to really get to me but once it does, it sticks with me for a while. 
This topic is for people to listen songs that are new to them that they love. It doesn't matter how old the song is, just as long as it's new to you. I'd also like to hear where you heard the song because I'm intereseted in learning how people discover new music. 
I've been listening to Pandora.com which is fantastic for discovering new music. There are a lot of songs I've discovered that I like a lot and some that I absolutely love. The two most recent are:

Twin Cinema by The New Pornographers

One ridiculously bouncy song I've been listening to lately is Nth Degree by Morningwood.

I listen to the Princeton University radio station a lot. They play a really interesting mix of music.

"I'm In Love" - performed by Wilson Pickett written by Bobby Womack. 
Recorded in 1968, first heard by me a few weeks ago. I'm a sucker for a love song and at 2:32 it always has me wishing for another verse and chorus.

I've had the song "Confined" by As I Lay Dying stuck in my head all week. And when that song isn't churning through my brain, Lumin's "Stiga" is constantly alternating. Quite the combination, eh?

Oh man, it is good. Not to say the first one isn't fantastic, but this one is even 100 times better.

On the Dresden Dolls page, in their "our heroes" section of the links, Legendary Pink Dots is listed as the first. (It's great that they hold one of my favourite bands in such a high regard. I actually heard about DD via LPD, in live shows DD has opened for LPD.)

So far I've also heard and liked "Sing Me Spanish Techno" off "Twin Cinemas" and "All For Swinging Around You" and "The Laws Have Changed" off of "Electric Version". <div class="quote-container">Quote:

I think it's great how old songs can be new for people. "Hey Jude" is a great song. The Beatles remain one of my all time favorite groups. I've been listening to them for almost 40 years now.

When i first read the thread, I immediately thought of my latest CD purchase which was the soundtrack from "Weeds" (Excellent TV on Showtime). New Porn is featured with "The Laws Have Changed." Love the music and wonder wonder wonder about the lyrics. Great soundtrack overall. So strange how music can deja vu: Another favorite song on the CD is "David" by Nellie McKay, whom I had never heard of - then I went to Three Penny Opera in NYC, and there she was, starring. Go figure. Music finds you. New Porn has such a full vocal sound - now I want the album!

Okay. So I know this isn't indie or anything good music wise- however, at the moment I'm in a bit of a..... slump- so the song, "I'll Be" by... Edward McCain is making me feel uber warm inside... I know it's a pop song that probably was over played, etc etc. 
but sometimes that doesn't matter.
