This is a lifestyle that I want to lead but I am not all the way knowledgeable about it. Can anyone explain to me everything about becoming a vegeterian?

I want to know what I can and can't eat?

What I can and can't drink?

Can I slowly give up certain meats? Or is it suggested you give them all up at once?

You go as fast or as slow as is comfortable for you. Some people give up meat at first but still eat fish. Eventually you should be abstaining from all meat and fish, seafood, etc. Some vegetarians eat dairy and eggs, others do not. If you really don't know anything about it, I would suggest giving up the meat and reading up on vegetarianism. Try VB's Tip of the Day Thread:

Also browse around the different forums. You will learn alot here. Good luck and welcome to VB!

Explaining everything about being vegetarian would be a lot all at once. There's some really good books out there on becoming vegetarian. This is a good one: http://www.amazon.com/Being-Vegetari...e=UTF8&s=books

Go as fast or as slow as you feel comfortable with. Phase one is definitely getting rid of meat (including chicken and fish) and then you can move on to other things (eggs, dairy, etc) when you're ready. You can do it. If you slip up, just take it as a learning experience and move on.
