The book is a vegan book. Only vegan ingredients were used in the making of it. One of the things that I am trying to do with my books is to get away from this dreadful convention that vegan books do and that is to throw soya in front of everything (soya cream, soya butter). I used a vegetable butter that tasted more buttery than margeriney, you could use an olive oil based spread or even a soya based one. With milk you can use your favourite, whether it is soya, almond, rice, coconut, hazelnut, etc. It is up to you.
The vegan diet is extremely varied so why should we limit ourselves to just soya milk/cream/......?
