Hi, my names jenny. I've been a vegan for about a year and two months give or take. I'm the only vegan i know. I'm also a christian and i believe that it was intended for humans to be herbivores. I hope i find some more vegans in my area...connecticut...the only one i know now is a very eccentric guy that works at a vegetarian food store. ive been debating for about a year about honey, lanolin, and wool. so if you have any ideas or your opinions on why i should or shouldnt keep them let me hear them please...thanks a lot!

Hi Jen18,

I know of 2 cXristians on the boards of which I am not one,

but 1 cracking super duper one is the renound SKYLARK... She's an extremely likable Christianess.. (soon taking leave to study in Spain).

Lately, one other Christian member whom incidently joined only recently is "Bible3000"... [fyi].

And I also I have a friend whose vegan butt I am trying to encourage to join up here whom again is Christian orientated.

I am just Goth. (nice & simple)... Excuse the X in cXristian, I do that not to offend, but becoz its cool.
If u agree to disagree with me I'll be glad to alter it back to Christian for you!

Hello. (LOL to Ferti, er, VegAnaconda)

If you do a search of the site, I'm sure you'll find plenty of reasons against the items you listed, not the least of which is that those items simply aren't vegan. If you can't find threads that can't answer your question, post a new thread in the appropriate forum. Everyone here loves to help!

Welcome.

Welcome, Jenny! There are a dozen or so Christians on VB, and we'd love to have your input, too. Right now we have an informal PM ring going, so if you want to find out more, let me know via email or by PM. (I might not check this thread again for awhile, just so you know.) Or if you'd just like me to tell you who the other Christians here are, I can do that, too. :) Right now it's hours past my bedtime.

My gracious, VegAnaconda! I've been reading some of the threads that went on while I was on vacation, and you're such a flatterer!

Meo, IMO, it is a common belief in both Christians and nonChristians that animals are here for human use and abuse.
