Would love to meet some local vegans and vegetarians in the fontana / riverside area. I dont know one vegetarian. Would be nice to meet some in person or to just connect online to get tips on the best stores or local farmers market.

Hello!

I'm an IE vegan. The meetup group linked above is very active, I'm a member too.

How long have u lived in the area?
Have you been to Viva La Vegan yet?

I'd be happy to help you, a hobby of mine is mentoring people in plant based diets and lifestyles by helping them shop and teaching how to cook simple recipes.

I'm in the Riverside area, but have lived all over San Brdo County in the past.

Thanks for the welcome. Nope, haven't tried either one. In fact, have never tried Thai food, but have been meaning too for a while.
You are missing out!!! Go in for lunch and try one of their lunch specials. They're only about $7, plus tax and tip. You get miso soup, rice, a salad, a wonton, and entree choice. I get the Pad Thai noodles with chik'n.

This is the Kung Pao lunch (it's okay, I prefer the Pad Thai):

Pad See Ew (not a lunch option, sadly):

Happy Family Orange Chik'n lunch (comes with a soup too):

It's not very close, but if you're ever in the Irvine area, you HAVE to try Native Foods. Holy Moly, it's amazing.

Mexican Cobb and Nachos:

Rueben Sandwich:

DDogs in downtown Riverside has veggie hot dogs and burgers too.
