hello, hola, bonjour, etcetera.

i'm 27 y/o and born and raised in New Orleans.

i was diagnosed with a mitochondrial disease about a year ago. i have been on a spiritual journey and it has led me to many lifestyle changes, including the desire to convert to vegetarianism. in part, it's due to a newfound 'harm not' philosophy, and in part for health purposes.

i am here to ask questions as my only recipe books have nothing but meat, i only know how to prepare meaty meals, etc...

i look forward to reading your helpful thoughts and opinions!

regards-

Welcome and congrats on making the change

I became a veg*n for for philosophical principles too! The concept of Ahimsa, or dynamic harmlessness sounds a lot like what you are talking about. I think you'll find many people here share this philosophy.
