Here's a new case of mad cow disease found in Alberta, Canada. What makes me mad (Pun Intended) is this...

"The farm where the dairy cow was found is under quarantine as officials test the feed and other animals in the herd for the disease.

Dr. Gerald Hauer, Alberta's chief veterinarian, said any animals that were born on the farm or shared the same feed as the infected cow will be destroyed."

They are going to have a culling again, whether the cows were infected or not!! I don't know what the numbers will be, but that just makes me Mad!

Bottom line: Were it not for factory farms, mad cow disease would be dystopian science fiction.
