are you trying to gain weight? if so, you may need a far more substantial amount of food...

either way, I'd recommend adding some more carbohydrates to breakfast and lunch- maybe a slice of toast with peanut butter at breakfast, then a baked sweet potato at lunch or some pitta bread to dip the hoummus in. And dressing on your salad

Good luck with your recovery!

I'm trying to gain weight and recovering from an ed as well, and what has been working for me (2 lb so far...woot!) is adding more starch and fat. They don't fill me up the way vegetables/fruits do.

Breakfast: more oats, maybe another tbsp of nuts, you won't even notice them there. And some raisins, maybe?

Lunch: try a smaller salad with fatty dressing and some bread with the hummus

Snack: rye bread and apple...sounds filling and low-cal. Maybe rye bread, peanut butter, and some dry fruit on top?

Dinner: instead of steaming veggies with oil, you could roast them with oil and balsamic to add a few more cals, and throw in some potato, then serve it with another starch like rice

Bonne chance!

BREAKFAST:

200g bio yogurt

2 small kiwifruit

1tbs sunflower seeds

1/4 oats

I think you can up this to 1/2 cup of oats and add some chopped dates. Kiwi is super healthy!

SNAX:

handful of nuts

Great snack! You can add some raw carrots and celery sticks.

LUNCH:

big salad

tofu 100grams

hommus and olives

Add flax oil to your dressing and also maybe some whole-grain pita bread.

SNAX:

rye bread

apple

DINNER:

steamed veggies with olive oil and salasa

potato/rice

beans/tofu/lentil patty

This seems really balanced, especially if you add some greens, such as kale, broccoli, spinach, or chard.

1 cookie

1 frozen yoghurt

handful of cherries

I would not say this is unhealthy but you can mix it up and have strawberries and other fruits.

It is hard to know how much you are eating. It seems like a nice amount. Of course if you are hungry, you can eat more. And do not be afraid to try new things, different vegetables and grains!

Yes, you can definitely get a dairy free pro-biotic. I have used the following one that I got online from Dr. Fuhrman's website:

http://www.drfuhrman.com/shop/favflora.aspx

I'm not sure where you are located, however, I would think it would be possible to find something similar with the same active ingredients. I just like to order from Dr. F. because I'm in the U.S., and I personally trust him to have high quality stuff. In my case, I end up getting free shipping because I order a bunch of other stuff too.

As far as breakfasts go, I see no problem with adding the chickpeas in place of yogurt, as you have done. I think it sounds very healthy.

One of the hearty breakfasts that I have enjoyed is oatmeal made from steel-cut oats, with walnuts and raisins in it. I also make a drink in my vitamix (a very powerful blender) that contains baby carrots, lemon, pineapple, and ice. Its called a carrot citrus cocktail, and it was one of the 'getting started' recipes that came with my vitamix.
