My new car came in yesterday, so I'm selling my old car. I'd like to get a copy of the vehicle history for the new buyer.<br><br><br><br>
I've found Carfax to be one of the most costly vehicle history VIN search websites.<br><br>
Anyone have any other recommendations for cheaper websites or avenues to get my vehicle history?<br><br><br><br>

I did a quick check and everything seems to lead back to Carfax, with $19.99 for single history check and $24.99 for unlimited history checks. I didn't even know there was such a thing! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="">

I found one where a single is $18.99. I was hoping someone knew of some other ones. Since I'm trying to do it as a courtesy for the new buyer, I don't want to pay too much.

I see people on message boards offering to run free Carfax reports all the time. Not this message board though.

Michael- I actually thought about doing that, lol. Buying the unlimited for $5 more and just seeing if anyone else I know wants me to run theirs.<br><br><br><br>
I was at the Secretary of State's website, and it seems you can get a copy from them for $7, but it takes up to 4 weeks to process & receive.<br><br><br><br>
By the way, MAN I love my new Prius.
