My new car came in yesterday, so I'm selling my old car. I'd like to get a copy of the vehicle history for the new buyer.

I've found Carfax to be one of the most costly vehicle history VIN search websites.

Anyone have any other recommendations for cheaper websites or avenues to get my vehicle history?

Thanks!

I did a quick check and everything seems to lead back to Carfax, with $19.99 for single history check and $24.99 for unlimited history checks. I didn't even know there was such a thing!

I found one where a single is $18.99. I was hoping someone knew of some other ones. Since I'm trying to do it as a courtesy for the new buyer, I don't want to pay too much.

Michael- I actually thought about doing that, lol. Buying the unlimited for $5 more and just seeing if anyone else I know wants me to run theirs.

I was at the Secretary of State's website, and it seems you can get a copy from them for $7, but it takes up to 4 weeks to process & receive.

By the way, MAN I love my new Prius.
