Hello,

One of the members of the animal rights group I belong to in California is looking for a sanctuary or animal rescue facility in Northwest Washington, or Oregon or Idaho that can take in some Minks (I dont actually know what the situation is, or how many minks we are talking about. - But Ive asked)

He's currently in Washington and has checked with a few animal rescues and they either don't take any minks, or can take a very small amount.

Any leads, ideas are greatly appreciated!

The only rescues up here that I've seen with minks are ferret rescues. You could try Sara's Sanctuary http://saras-sanctuary.org/. They are licensed to do wildlife as well as farm animals.

Thanks! Another one to check out. It looks like they were looking for a rescue for about 200 minks. But was able to work with a local private farmer with a large amount of land and uses it for an animal safe zone. He was willing to take in 100 of the minks.

Just an update. The remaining 100 minks are going to be set into the wild on Monday. My friend was working with another activist in Washington and they've found a place to release the minks! Yay! Liberation!
