Actually, I would especially fault a pregnant woman for this, particularly one who knows what's at stake for the animals. It's the choice to bring another human into the world with the statement that that human and your convenience are far more important than all the animals you are making suffer for it. It's bringing yet another human into the world to create more suffering for all the other earthlings. I wish human babies weren't born when the cost is that other earthlings have to be treated like tools for the birth and life of that precious human baby. It's just continuing the cycle of human abusers.I can't fault a pregnant woman for doing what she feels she needs to.

I might cut more slack for a woman without a lot of resources, but Natalie is complaining about B-12 and craving pastries in the article. Natalie can easily get a B-12 test - in fact she can have someone come to her house and do it - and get vegan pastries.
Ditto on those comments. Damn me for looking. Humanity = idiocy.Originally Posted by Vegan Wannabe

As for Nat., I'm glad she is at least still vegetarian. I guess you have to do what feels right for you and if she felt reintroducing eggs and dairy into her diet was what she needed to do during her pregnancy, for whatever reason, so be it.
Oh the unapoligetic and proud omnivore - blood dripping from their chins as they spew their 'top of the food chain/as god intended' drivel. If I was ever considering eating meat again - all I would need to do is remind myself what crowd of drooling ass clowns I would then be associating myself with.

I've never been pregnant (and don't ever intend to be), so I guess I won't come down too hard on her, but honestly it does sound like she's making a lot of lame excuses. How hard can it be for Natalie Portman to get vegan cake??
...and in regards to the serious commitment and dedication she lends to her profession (IE: Black Swan) it's disappointing that being vegan has proved too challenging for her.Originally Posted by ashlend
