pita is from many regions in the middle east and used similar to naan. but also eaten like a wrap or sandwich where you open it and stuff the insides with fillings like avocado tomato sprouts hummus. falafel regularly is eaten inside pita. pita can be cut into triangles and baked like crackers or chips eat with dips like hummus or baba gounoush
a fun thing to try with both naan and pita is making pizzas. just add marinara and toppings and bake at 400-450 degree oven for about 5-8 minutes, yummy crispy easy pizza!
