They actually closed campus yesterday. That is the only the 2nd time in the five years I have been there that has happened. They don't even close when all the schools around them are closed for snow.<br><br><br><br>

Anni, I also live in Michigan City. Isn't it strange how the storm just hopped around neighborhoods...Most seemed to have a lot of damage in some parts and minimal in others..I was blessed, lots of leaves on huge limbs but no damage ... Thank God..Did you see the train cars that were overturned??

I live in Brookston, and I heard the storm anouncer guy come on the radio and tell the surrounding towns to take shelter. Wolcott, Medaryville and Delphi got it too, but not quite that bad.

You could not get any information on our local radio station, they were playing a football game from Gary..The next town over (LaPorte) is where all the information about the storm was coming from..<br><br><br><br>

Rough stuff. It look like no deaths were reported, so that's at least one good thing. Hope you and yours are all OK. We're still waiting for our first really Big One in 20+ years down here in Houston, especially after Rita narrowly missed us last year.
