yeah, i had no idea what you wrote. my friend who works in IT scoped out a few hosting sites and found one that had a good program to help people who don't know anything about programming make a web site on their own. and those people work from templates.
i am one of those people. for years, i've tried to get a web site going. my sister knows how to build really beautiful web sites (great designer) but she's very bi-polar about it. one minute, she wants to do it. then, she gets about 1/2 done and freaks out on you that she's 'too busy' and 'you're being mean' and god only knows what else.
then, if i ask her whether or not i can hand that info over to someone else, she freaks. so, i go to another friend who can do it. they do it--but i can't update it mself because i don't know how, and often those friends don't update it in a timely manner (for example: class starts on Dec 16! is posted on Dec 22).
i thought, then, that i'd go with a professional web designer and pay him/her--but all of the estimates for what i wanted (including being able to update--i'd submit it to them, they'd update) were well beyond my budget ($3000 or more). So, that was out.
I had my sister do a quick one-page that had my contact info and schedule and left it at that.
but my friend, he found this site for me and a few others. i found this program easier to use than the other ones--so i went with them. they were also less expensive (yay!). So, it's a great fit and i can update it myself.
