So, I ditched the professional mooch December 29th. The thought of spending New Years Eve single was a bit depressing, but my girlfriends changed that. We hung out at a friend's house, wrote down what we didnt' want from 2011, burned it in a bowl on her balcony ( almost had a fire, but that was pretty hilarious, just made it more memorable!) read aloud what we wanted in 2012 and drew angel cards to see what our version of God's message was for us. Funny thing, since deciding to go high raw vegan, my card was "Cleanse and Detoxify!" If that isn't the best gift ever! God telling me "You've got this, girl and I have your back!" After that, we went to see fireworks at Discovery Green. When that was done, I went and met some more friends. My ex bf was in on my mind, but today I am comfortable enough in my own skin that I don't need a man to define or complete me. Am I a little sad, yes. Am I hopeful and excited about what is in store for 2012? Yes! Will I stay single for the rest of my life? Probably not. Now that I know that I have the strength to end something that no longer serves me, a loving creator, friends who I can fall back on, there is no challenge that I cannot face. Happy New Year to all of you!

I went to a solstice celebration where we were encouraged to bring something to burn. It was to be either something you were leaving behind or something that you wanted to manifest in the new year. It was a soul-warming experience!

Congratulations on reclaiming your life.

It really is soul warming! I am new to the whole manifesting things, but I see it work miracles in my friend's life, what can it hurt! Reclaiming my life. I like that! That kind of reminds me of people in haunted houses, driving the demons out and claiming their homes. That's exactly what I feel like. Pretty awesome!

I still need a man to complete me, but in my case it's only because I've been wanting a tail with grabbing ability for a long time now, and I've discovered that I could sever a functional, long masculine arm from someone and attach that to my backside for this purpose.

I don't need someone to complete me since I found the luvvin' light. Actually, I don't need food to complete me either.

Congrats, that sounds awesome!
I always feel pretty darn amazing after break-ups... (you know, once the hurt and sadness goes away)

Only people with acceptable social life can say things like that.
