If anyone would like to see my new blog... here it is:

http://blog.shippersx.com

It's new, so there aren't very many recipes yet. I'm about to post a sushi recipe and an Italian Grilled Cheese-n-Tomato recipe too!

Let me know what you think!

Awww... thank you so much.
I LOVE cooking, so I don't see this blog going dead anytime soon

The tortilla bowl baker is fun! My boyfriend and I actually had the taco salads today and yesterday for lunch
You should invest in one, they aren't expensive (only about $15 online, plus shipping). Next time you go to a kitchen gadget type store, look for them
I think for my next party, I'm going to use it for bean dip or something.

Great job!

I know there's several of us VBers who have "veggie-blogs".

I LOVE it personally and would post stuff in mine whether people could see it or not. I keep track of recipe ideas and notes and whether I liked something or not - it's fun!

It is an awesome way to keep track of good recipes! That's one of the reasons I started it. I know that whenever I go through a vegetarian cookbook, half of the stuff looks gross to me. I bet a lot of veggies feel the same way. I like seeing pictures and reading other people's reviews. That's what I have at my site. I am so disappointed when I try a new recipe, spend almost $20 on the ingredients and it tastes no better than dog food.

I'm going to bookmark you site now!

When you get enough recipes you might want to consider making a "blook." That's when you turn your blog into a book. I think it's awesome to see more and more of these veg*n recipe and info sites popping up all over the place.

*hehe* Too bad most of the recipes aren't mine. The family recipes that I do have contain meat and cannot be substituted. Oh! I just remembered a recipe that I can add to my site... it's for speghetti sauce that I vegetarian-itized! I have all of the ingredients for it in my pantry... I should make that soon and post the recipe on my blog (I need a pic first).

I just ordered a blook
Jennifer McCann's. I can't wait to get it! (I have the lunch box... I got it for myself)

How exactly does one go about doing that? I googled and all the info seemed like "bla-bla-bla-pay us BIG BUCKS and we'll publish two copies of your blog in an itty-bitty book..."

Wow, that's a beautiful sight - well designed, and your recipe pictures are so tasteful. My husband would like that, he won't cook a new recipe unless he can see a picture of it.

I'm the same way, which is why I got so hooked on other people's blogs (and started my own). Cookbooks are OK to an extent, but few have pictures all the way through - I really am only interested in cooking something I can see a picture of.

Thank you

I bought a vegetarian cookbook that has 1001 recipes in it, but no pix. I rarely ever look through it. I need some visuals so I know if my recipe turned out right

I like to see pictures of how MY recipe will turn out, not how a professional's did. The pictures are always perfect in a cookbook, I want to see the sloppy mess too!
