So I recently sent my mom a picture of my 2 yo daughter and my mom got worried about her getting enough protein/nutrients in her diet because she had dark bags under her eyes. Would lack of protein and all that give someone bags under their eyes? I try to give my daughter as much protein as possible everyday, she also has a very balanced nutritious diet. I tried to tell my mom all of that while also telling her that she was actually very tired when I took the picture. But of course, now I can't stop worrying about it. Please tell me my mom is just crazy! Lol...

You can go take her to get blood tests done to see if she's missing anything.

Could be congestion.<br><a href="http://www.parents.com/kids/health/cold/under-eye-circles/" target="_blank">http://www.parents.com/kids/health/c...r-eye-circles/</a><br><br>
Or lack of sleep, allergies, stress...<br><a href="http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/dark-circles-under-eyes/MY00346/DSECTION=causes" target="_blank">http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/dar...SECTION=causes</a><br><br>
If your kiddo has lots of energy and seems happy then I wouldn't worry but if your tot is sluggish and/or highly emotional or withdrawn then I'd see a doctor.
