I don't know what is hitting me. It just goes on, and on, and on. This past week, my daughter was injured, she was sick, and I had a car accident.

I was away from the house for maybe 90 minutes this afternoon. When I went out the cat was fine. When I came back she could hardly walk. I took her to the vet immediately (I was lucky he had surgery right at that time). He thinks she had a cerebral thrombosis. My kitty is 15 years old and he says she may recover but I think she won't last long now. He kept her for observation until tomorrow night and is going to do some testing. This is my best little furry friend, I have had her since she was 10 weeks old, she moved house with me twice, has accepted my husband and little daughter in her life, has always been the nicest and smartest cat (and the prettiest too) that I have known... I miss her already.

I called the friend I got her from when she was a kitten (I don't see this girl often anymore) and she said my kitty's daddy died 6 months ago, probably of the same causes. So I guess that's it. I am so sad. It will take me a long time to get over this.

Ahhhhh, I'm very sorry.

It's so hard when our companions are sick, and just awful when they die. I do hope you have more time with your kitty, but if you don't, I hope it comforts you that you obviously gave her a wonderful home. I'm sure she has felt very loved.

I know. I just keep crying. The cat is 15 and has had a wonderful life, I have loved that animal to pieces.

My daughter (she's 5) just came home (my husband went to get her from school as I wasn't able to drive in my state of mind) and hugged me and said "it will be allright mommy". Which made me cry some more.

My sister just called and said she put some special magic on the cat which is supposed to help her come through. (We are witches, both of us, but she has stronger techniques, I have stronger intuition, LOL). The weird thing is, her magic often works ! I'll know tomorrow if kitty pulled through the night and if she still has these muscle cramps from her cerebral 'attack'. It's just weird to be in the house and not know where or how the cat is. She was old and often spent entire evenings just stretching and sleeping, but I always knew where she was. I removed her food bowl but I am still reminded of her every few seconds.

The cat is back home !!! Her seizures seem to be gone for now. I have to watch her closely for the next few days though (and keep her inside, which will be quite difficult... LOL). We will have blood results by tomorrow evening. It may be temporary. Maybe my sister's "magic" (it was a form of reiki, energy healing, long distance) has worked ?? I hope to have my kitty with me for a while still... what a scare though !!
