Hey guys!

I'm so excited about the ABBA products

I bought a shampoo and conditioner yesterday and it's amazing the change in my hair with only one use. My hair is so soft and shinny after using it!!! I can't believe it!!! I think most products are natural and vegan....

Here is the website

http://www.abbahaircare.com/

Does any of you use these products?

I found them by mistake... went to Trader Secrets to get Redkins and I left with ABBA. What a great choice

From their site it says they are 100% vegan, Eco-sensitive, Cruelty Free, Free of synthetic dyes - sulfates and DEA.

Thanks for bringing them to my attention. I just got a perm on Tues and I'll need to buy "special" care products. I'll definitely give this a try.

My hairstylist only buys cruelty free products ... but she doesn't sell them.

I used to use the ABBA moisture scentsation conditioner a few years ago. Actually, it was before I became as animal welfare/environmentally conscious as I am now. It's good stuff. The super strong peppermint tingle is therapeutic! Now I want to get some again.

Really? I have tried Abba products before and didn't care for them, with the exception of the gel-essentials.

*Disappointed*

I haven't tried these products yet. I couldn't find any salons in my area that sold them. Finally I found them on Amazon and purchased a $50 set (conditioner, shampoo, curl activating tonic)

They arrived today and they are NOT vegan. There is a questionable ingredient in the ABBA True Curls product line.

Equisetum Arvense Extract (source: Horsetail)

It actually says right on the bottle that it comes from horsetail. Unless someone can prove that there is a flower or plant with this name, this in not vegan.

It's vegan.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horsetail

Quote:

The name horsetail arose because it was thought that the stalk resembled a horse's tail, the name Equisetum being from the Latin equus, "horse", and seta, "bristle".

ETA: They have honey in some of their products. Ugh. So they're liars.

http://www.abbahaircare.com/body_polish_pp.html

Thank you VeggieJanie! I feel better.

There is no honey in the products I bought.

\\

ETA: Son of [email protected]! The shampoo and Conditioner now seem to be free and clear for use, but the curl activating tonic has PEG-75 lanolin in it. which as far as I know only comes from the wool of sheep.

*shrugs* I tried their hairspray today... not really impressed. It cost a zillion dollars and it didn't work any better than the cheap crap [still not tested] I ususally use. Won't be buying it again.
