Hello all. I have come here looking for some advice/guidance. I am not a vegan, but one of my friends is. She is getting married soon. My friends and I thought maybe a nice day at the spa package would be a nice pre-wedding gift for our friend. We want to find a place that is vegan friendly though.

Do these places exist? If not, have you ever heard of someone bringing their own products to a spa and the spa using those? We thought if we couldn't find a vegan friendly spa, that maybe we could order the products and have them sent to the spa so she is surprised when she gets there.

We are friends that are scattered all around, so research is a bit harder for us since we are all communicating via email.

Any help you could provide me, would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

I think your best bet is to call one of her local spas and just ask them if they're vegan friendly - if they ask what vegan is, try another spa.

If they answer no, then I'd ask if they allow a person to bring their own supplies. If they say yes, go to a local bath place, or HFS and ask for help searching for the vegan supplies you'd need.

I think Aveda has a lot of vegan-friendly products. If there's an Aveda spa in your area, I'd call and ask them if they will do an all-vegan spa package. I'm willing to bet that they'll be more than happy to accommodate.

Another idea is to get a vegan gift basket from www.veganstore.com. They have a love basket that is full of really cool stuff. http://www.pangeaveg.com/cgi-bin/miv...12-giftbaskets

I'm not going to make any recommendations, but I want to tell you that I think you and your other friends are really terrific for being sensitive to the bride-to-be's lifestyle. Bravo!

I know that Aveda products do not have animal products in them, try an Aveda concept salon. They have a salon directory on thier website. www.aveda.com
