Hey, I'd love to know the music of your life. I enjoy a tremendous varity of music, but I'll start with a couple CDs that I couldn't live without...

Grateful Dead- Reckoning (this is the all-time #1 of my life)

James Taylor- Greatist Hits (road trips with mom when we were kids made me & my siblings lifelong James Taylor fans...even if we don't want to be)

Joni Mitchell- Blue

That is just a start....can't wait to find out what rocks your souls

I'm a big James Taylor fan too - ever since I was a pre-teen.

Loreena McKennitt (I have everything she's done)

SERAH (seems like nobody knows about her, but she's awesome especially Flight of the Storks and Senagel Moon!)

Everything Motown and anything Beatles

These are my standards - everything else is a bonus

I'm also a Beatles fan...hehehe. My son LOVES the Beatles (he's 9)....He's always walking around belting out Beatles tunes. So cute.

He loves Moby-Play, too- Considers it *his* CD. Hehehe

I've recently picked up something new/different- which I recommend: Trance Mission. A wicked combination of didjeridoo and mid-eastern horns...wow.

Man, who doesn't love James Taylor (even if they won't admit it). I've never met anyone who doesn't know every word to every song.... that gives them away.

I'll also add Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Sly & The Family Stone, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Emerson, Lake & Palmer......more later.

I'd rather jab my thumbs in my eyes than be forced to choose which music to leave behind. I've pared down my collection as tight as I can, and I still have hundreds of CDs. There's simply too many centuries and cultures of great music out there to narrow it down to something I could, say, take with me on an airplane.

Very cool! I only got into him when The River came out. I have made up for it now though and have everything. Seen him loads of times and met him a few times. Do you have a favourite album?
