Hi everyone<br><br>
Since going vegetarian I have lost weight which is fine and I had to re-adjust my food in take, I don't want to lose all my muscle so must start exercise again from Monday morning. Don't know how to motivate myself and get my energy up.<br><br>
I have the womenshealth bikini work out dvd which is weights and cardio work out!<br><br>
Want to do it in the mornings before work as I am morning person!

i've been hitting the gym for many years. it's still hard at first. it's something that needs to become a habit. once i actually start working out, it's fine. plus, the results make the effort worth it.

Good luck. Men won't really care if you don't have a lot of muscle though.</div>

No kidding. She never said anything about her sexuality or dating a man in this post. That was awkward. LOL<br><br><br>
Anyway, on topic, make sure you get enough carbohydrates after working out for your muscles to recover!

Good luck! Have you thought of any outdoor activities like cycling to build up your legs? What kinds of activities are you planning on doing? I love yoga for toning myself.

erm I do have a bit of knowledge on exercise but my problem is I lost about 3kg's since going vegetarian and are now 46kg's which is perfect for my height of 1.52 - I don't want to lose more.<br><br>
Been trying to maintain and eat enough calories.<br><br>
I slowly want to introduce some toning exercises into my week, I do walk outdoors with my dog.

your body will taper off and normalcy will settle in. it's easier to start from being thin and building muscle/toning than the opposite. just eat a healthy balanced diet and you should be fine. you're body will do the rest.

Well I'm not sure how much weight you lost so pardon if this doesn't apply to you, but did you find that when you lost weight you also lost muscle, as in *ahem* that saggy jelly looking limbs and such? Are there exercises to help build muscle and get rid of that?

Ya won't get any bulky muscle just by training hard.<br><br>
especially since you're a woman.

This.<br><br>
It would be extremely difficult for a woman to get big, bulky muscles like those female body builders. My sister used to bench around 200 and she wasn't bulky at all.

I know what you mean. You want muscle definition, right? Try yoga, it is great for building long, lean muscles <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">

Speak for yourself.<br><br>
I've known plenty of guys who were attracted to the really fit, six pack abs, type of woman. My most recent ex was like that.<br><br>
<--- Not muscular enough for her ex.

Yeah, I know a lot of men who prefer athletic women. The comment should have been "<i>I</i> won't really care if you don't have a lot of muscle."
